Murano
Some years ago, I visited a Murano exhibition in Zürich. At the entrance there was a cube filled with a wonderful mass of broken pieces. Glass fascinates me, and especially Murano glass. The idea of giving the shards a new meaning popped into my mind. I asked the lady at the museum if I could have some at the end of the exhibition. When the time came, she called me to pick what I wanted. I then invited an art friend to join me. We both used those sharp-edged elements in our pictures. "Murano amore mio" would be the title for the exhibition where we could present our works together.
